PUKI Grade Guide

Graded items on PUKI are graded A, B or C for cosmetic condition, or listed separately as Damaged / For Repair. All graded items — A, B and C — are fully tested and working; the grade only describes condition, never whether the item works.

What each grade means depends on what the item is, so the exact criteria vary by category — a laptop battery is not judged by the same numbers as a phone, and a camera is not judged on battery health at all. The grade shown on any listing links to the criteria that actually apply to it. Some categories, such as accessories and PC components, are not graded: those are described by their condition and the seller’s notes instead.

Grade A

Cosmetic: Minimal to no visible wear — any marks are only visible under direct light.
Functionality: Fully working. Every feature has been tested.

Grade B

Cosmetic: Light visible wear — light marks on the body, nothing that affects use.
Functionality: Fully working. Every feature has been tested.

Grade C

Cosmetic: Noticeable wear — visible scratches or scuffs, and it may have dents.
Functionality: Fully working. Every feature has been tested.

Damaged / For Repair

Items with cracked screens, broken ports, non-functional components, or other severe physical damage.

Functionality: Sold as-is. No functionality guarantee.

This is a separate category, not a grade below C — it is never assigned a letter grade.

How PUKI grades devices

The seller self-declares the grade and condition when they create the listing.
PUKI reviews the listing before it's approved and published.
If what arrives doesn't match the declared grade, that's covered by PUKI Buyer Protection — you can dispute it within the window described there.
